I am proud of myself. I've worked out 76 of the last 81 days. I can now swim for 35 continuous minutes, workout on the elliptical for an hour, or play with the kids for a couple of hours without collapsing into a heap. My pulse rate is no where near heart attack stage, and my blood pressure is greatly improved.
I've lost 2 inches off my waist, and my arms are stronger. I wish I could say I've lost more than 10 pounds, but I haven't. I still need to lose at least 20 pounds. Admittedly, I just started keeping track of my points last week. I haven't made it into a meeting recently. When you've been a leader, it's a real admission of defeat to go back to a meeting. So that's my goal for next week.
However, my bridesmaid dress fits, and I've made some pretty good choices, and considering we went on vacation for 4 full weeks, maybe losing 6 pounds isn't that bad. I have a little more than 6 weeks before this wedding. Let's see how it works.
